스콜피언스(Scorpions)는 독일의 하드 록 밴드이다. 초기에는 프로그레시브 록에 가까운 하드 록을 했으나 1979년 작품 Lovedrive를 기점으로 팝 메탈 성향의 음악을 하고 있다. 스콜피언스는 독일의 명 기타리스트 미하엘 쉥커(루돌프 쉥커의 동생), 울리히 로스 등이 재적했던 것으로도 유명하다.

 

2015년 결성 50주년을 맞이한 스콜피언스는 2010년 정규 앨범 '스팅 인 더 테일(Sting In The Tail)'을 내놓고 2~3년간 월드투어를 돈 다음 해체를 하겠다고 선언했으나 이를 번복하고 2015년 초 새 정규앨범 '리턴 투 포에버(Return to Forever)'로 화려하게 컴백했다.     출처: 스콜피언스 - 위키백과
